Gelder Group Architects (GGA) is an architectural design and project management company based on Sydney’s North Shore. In 1992 the company was established with the aim of providing a co-ordinated approach to the design and construction of small to large scale projects for both the private and public sector.  Our projects range from residential renovations to new housing and multi-residential developments.  We also have extensive experience in industrial, commercial developments and mixed-use developments.

Our team are trained in the current CAD and BIM technology to optimise project accuracy and efficiency.  The formation of strategic industry alliances also provides our clients with access to a wide-ranging support network of professional consultants, contractors and suppliers. Our team approach to the construction process from feasibility stage through to the final building hand-over is a fundamental maxim for GGA. Extensive industry experience enables GGA to enter the design process at any stage, and in any position, whether as the lead consultant or as a member of a larger team.

interior design

Apart from our holistic architectural services, GGA prides itself on creating beautiful and meaningful spaces for our clients to enjoy, within the buildings they inhabit, through both interior decorating and interior design services. Interior decorating consists of selecting bespoke furniture, soft furnishings, art, rugs, decor and other accessories, whereas, interior design is the hard fixtures like tiles, taps, flooring, paint colour schemes and elements required to physically build a room.

We recognise the importance of idea generation in collaboration with our clients, as brainstorming and compiling ideas is essential in creating a unique vision which can belong only in their home.  We work closely with our clients in a casual and relaxed manner to truly understand your desires and needs.

landscaping

To GGA, Landscape architecture means facilitating meaningful, sustainable connections between people and place. This idea is becoming more apparent globally, as major cities are focusing more of their efforts on improving the quality of their public spaces, as these are frequently used as key indicators of a places’ liveability.

Our landscape architecture services seek the protection of key environmental features where possible, along with the regeneration of local natural environments. We understand that in doing so, tangible economic, social and ecological benefits to cities and our greater communities are the end result.
